Whilshere will not strengthen England against Montenegro in the Euro 2012 qualifiers.
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, says ankle injury makes him unable to go down for three months.
He suffered the injury in pre-season game versus New York Red Bulls July 31.
At first he thought just needed to rest a few days but apparently the injury was more severe than expected.
"I do not get down about 2-3 months! I workout at the gym to stay fit and I am disappointed but will recover more strongly," he wrote on Twitter.
Whilshere absence this will be a heavy blow for Arsenal, who have lost two key midfielders: Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.
Just like Fabregas and Nasri, last season's 19-year-old player has been derived in the first team this season and Arsenal had twice defeated, among others, were massacred Manchester United 8-2.
