Vera Zvonareva at the U.S. Open has not been tripped. This two seed from Russia secured her progress to Quarterfinals after removing seed-22 Sabine Lisicki.
Zvonareva get easy victory by a score of 6-2, 6-3 win over Lisicki in a match at Flushing Meadows Park, which ended on Monday (05/09/2011).
Lisicki appear with web services from Zvonareva loud but not very accurate. Only 40 percent of service that goes from the German tennis player and make five times the double fault and an ace.
Opponent Zvonareva in the last eight was ninth seed Samantha Stosur beat Maria Kirilenko previously with a 6-2, 6-7 (15), 6-3.
Occupying a higher seed once status as a finalist last year to make more seeded Zvonareva. Even so, two world tennis ranking is not feasible to relax.
