Defending champion AC Milan will face Lazio in the Italian serie A that will begin next Friday after a delay caused by the strike.

"honestly, I do not understand why the league suspended. What is clear we will start playing again," said Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
"We still remain favorites. We will be stronger than last season by buying new players in the transfer last season," he added.
Milan beat Inter Milan 2-1 in the Italian Super Cup last month and will open in the Champions League match against defending champion Barcelona on Tuesday.
Lazio had not defeated Milan at San Siro for 22 years and coach Edy Reja will try a new 4-2-3-1 formation with the players from Germany striker Miroslav Klose and Djibril Cisse from France.
